September 2022 Release Notes

September was a busy month for the ACP Decisions Team.  We continued our work on our tech infrastructure, including an ACP Tools Android update. We've also published another blog post about dual eligible beneficiaries.

Addressing the Needs of Dual Eligible Beneficiaries (3 minute read)

Dual eligible beneficiaries are among the most vulnerable patient populations in the United States. While policymakers and health plans recognize the need to address the complex care needs of these individuals, it can be challenging to understand their unique situations and the variety of factors that elevate their risk.  Over the last decade, policymakers at both state and federal levels have worked hard to integrate Medicaid and Medicare benefits, administrative processes, and financing to improve and streamline care for the individuals simultaneously enrolled in both programs. However, more must be done to address the complex needs of dual eligible beneficiaries.

The Latest Technology Platform Fixes & Enhancement

👷🔨Ongoing Infrastructure Update🔨👷

In September, ACP Decisions released an update to the ACP Decisions Android app to improve the user experience and addressed stability issues.  We also worked on upgrading our platform’s framework in addition to changing the login experience with a new password policy that we anticipate will go live in late January 2023.
