June was yet another busy month for the ACP Decisions Team. We continued our work on security updates to our tech infrastructure. A new release is underway and coming your way in the next few months! We've also published a series of blog posts.

Health Literacy: A Bridge to Health Equity (3 minute read)
In the wake of the pandemic’s disparate impacts on different communities, healthcare organizations are exploring ways to advance their health equity initiatives. Given the fact that health literacy was identified as a valuable tool to help populations disproportionately affected by COVID-19, it is clear that addressing low health literacy can effectively improve health equity.

In June we released four videos that were specifically created for the LGBTQIA+ patient population:

The Latest Technology Platform Fixes & Enhancement
👷🔨Ongoing Infrastructure Update🔨👷
In June, we upgraded our technology infrastructure architecture residing in AWS, and we started a legacy system migration. We continue to update our infrastructure to meet scalability and performance needs while adhering to certain security standards and frameworks. An update to the ACP Decisions iOS mobile app was released on June 23rd, featuring several improvements including improved collection search functionality to mobile app setting security updates. Starting mid-June, the Android mobile app began a rebuild to improve user features and performance.
