Forcing Content to Refresh & Refreshing without Signing Out

We've built ACP Tools for iOS and Android to refresh content automatically. Sometimes that process might be prevented from refreshing properly due to firewall settings or because of an unstable internet connection.

There are a few things you can do to force the content to refresh:

Swipe Down to Refresh on any Screen

On either the featured, library, or order history screen pull the screen down with your finger. This will reveal a refresh control. The screenshot below shows this behavior on the order history screen.

Force Quitting the ACP Tools App forces a refresh without you having to sign out then back in again. To do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Double tap the home button on your iPad or iPhone. This will show you currently running applications.
  2. Swipe down on the ACP Tools App. This refreshes the app without forcing you to sign in again.
  3. Tap on the app icon to relaunch it. It will show the loading indicator for a second or two, then the content should appear.

(Optional) Sign Out & Sign In Again

If for some reason the force-quitting process above does not work, you can also try signing out then signing back in again as that should also trigger a refresh.

Additional Troubleshooting Steps

Check If You Have a Valid Internet Connection

The app requires an internet connection to perform most tasks. Open an app like Safari to verify that you can load websites like google.com or acpdecisions.org to test if your device has a valid WiFi or Cellular connection.

If Using Cellular Data, Make Sure Data for ACP Tools Is Enabled

Even if you have cellular data on your device, it may be disabled for the ACP Tools App. Navigate to Settings > Cellular Data on your device and locate "ACP Tools" in the list. Select it and make sure "Cellular Data" is enabled.
